Turret Tops, August 24, 2019 - October 26, 2020, Site-responsive Installation curated by Sarah Montross at The deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln, MA. Turret Tops are life-size replicas of deCordova Museum’s iconic turrets. After 11 months weathering the elements, the outer “garment” layers were removed to reveal the sun-bleached “suntans” on the neoprene “skin” layer underneath. Materials: neoprene, glideskin, ribbon, thread, zip ties, galvanized steel and concrete, each turret top is 240 x 246 inches.
